GANGTOK, June 2 - Sikkim has till date tested a grand total of 3,525 samples for COVID-19, out of which 2,601 samples have tested negative. There has been one positive case. Results of the remaining samples are awaited.
The total samples sent to the North Bengal Medical College and Hospital, Siliguri, till date stand at 1,625, stated Sikkim Government authorities, giving a break-up of the tests conducted so far. As many as 930 have tested negative and one has tested positive among the samples so far. The results of 694 samples are awaited.
The total samples tested at the Viral Research and Diagnostic Laboratory, STNM Hospital, till date stand at 514. Out of them, 356 samples have tested negative and the test results of 158 are awaited.
The TrueNat Machine at the STNM has so far tested 1,386 samples. Out of them, 1,315 have tested negative and the results of 71 samples are awaited.
