GANGTOK, Aug 5 - Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang has congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the landmark Bhoomi Pujan ceremony and the laying of the foundation stone of a Ram temple at Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh today.
Calling it an �extraordinarily great moment,� the Chief Minister added that the entire global Hindu community is celebrating the occasion as well as those in Sikkim. The foundation stone marks an insurmountable cultural unity and a solid consolidation of national power, Tamang added.
In a separate letter, the Sikkim Chief Minister also congratulated his Uttar Pradesh counterpart Yogi Adityanath, on the occasion.
Tamang also applauded the Central Government for the National Education Policy which has been unveiled after a long interval. He remarked that the coming generation would benefit from this progressive, liberal and indigenous policy, boosting knowledge level, competitive spirit, scientific temper, employment opportunities and technological development.
