Sikkim asked to clarify on Lottery rules

NEW DELHI, Aug 18 � The Ministry of Home Affairs has sought clarifications from Sikkim Government for violating Lotteries (Regulation) Rules 2010, on the basis of a complaint from Kerala Government. The MHA has also taken up the matter with Royal Government of Bhutan through the Ministry of External Affairs in connection with the same complaint, said Minister of State for Home Affairs, Ajay Maken. The Minister said the Ministry has received two representations from Government of Kerala, one regarding the name and address of the promoter appointed by Bhutan Government and Sikkim Government.
