GUWAHATI, Jan 22 � Siddharth Chowdhury of Assam bagged a double crown in the 4th India Club AITA Championship Series held at India Club courts. In the boy�s U-16 singles, Siddharth Chowdhury defeated Mingkhi Talom of Arunachal Pradesh 7-5, 6-4 here today. In the boy�s U-16 doubles event, Siddharth Chowdhury and Mingkhi Talom beat Raunak Bora and Ankeet Kashyap 6-2, 6-3 of Assam.
In girl�s U-16 singles, Priyana Kalita of Assam beat State mate Lenien Jamir 6-2, 6-3.
In the closing ceremony, prizes were distributed by Dinesh Dhanuka of Pushpak Travels and Ankush Dutta, secretary of All Assam Tennis Association. Tournament Director Gaurav Chowdhury offered the vote of thanks.
