GUWAHATI, Nov 22 - Two months after it was cancelled in the wake of the question paper leak scam, the Sub Inspector recruitment test was today held across 150 centres in the State.
The examination was conducted by Dibrugarh University and nearly 65,000 candidates had downloaded their admit cards till last night. Advertisement was announced for 597 vacancies.
Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal thanked the all the officials and concerned authorities associated with the Assam Police Sub Inspector recruitment examination including Dibrugarh University, chairman of the State Level Police Recruitment Board and DGP, district civil and police administration for successfully holding the recruitment test.
