GUWAHATI, Nov 26 - In the thrilling final of the Abdul Ali Memorial 14th All Assam Inter School Cricket Tournament at the Latasil playground here today, Shrimanta Shankar Academy (SSA) edged past South Point School by 3 runs.

Opting to bat first Shrimanta Shankar Academy notched up 179 for seven in the stipulated 30 overs. Angshuman Katoni (39) and Anmol Gohain Baruah (35) were their leading scorers for the team. Making a hot chase the South Point batsmen took their team to a comfortable position at one stage. But finally they fell three runs short as they were restricted to 176 for nine in 30 overs.
