GUWAHATI, April 29 � Shooting and archery training centres were inaugurated at the Royal Global School here today.
The shooting range � named Arjuna Hall was inaugurated by Pallab Bhattacharya, president, Assam Rifle and Shooting Association while the archery centre was inaugurated by Jayanta Boro, president Assam Archery Association and former international archer Pratibha Boro.
While emphasizing on the importance of shooting as a sport, chief guest, Pallab Bhattacharya said that sports like archery and shooting help children to increase their level of concentration.
The programme was attended by AK Pansari, chairperson Royal Global School and PK Sarma, chairperson AREIDA.
With these two, the Royal Global School now offers a variety of 17 sport facilities for the students.
