GUWAHATI, Jan 16 - North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC), an autonomous organisation set up by the Government of India with an aim to safeguard and promote culture, is organising Shilpgram Mahotsav- 2018, a national level festival of arts on music, dance, theatre, food, craft and children�s activities, marking its 12th foundation day, on its complex at Panjabari here from January 17 to 20.
The festival is being organised to present the cultural heritage of the North East. Apart from the NE zone, artistes from other zones also have been invited to participate in the festival. Children�s talent presentation, magic show, painting and drawing workshop, folk dances and music, drama, mime show, classical dance etc., would be the highlights of the Mahotsav.
Entry to the event has been kept free of cost by the organisers from 11 a.m. to 9.30 p.m.
