SHILLONG, Dec 27 - Forever Young, an NGO, will be organising a midnight swim on December 31 at Crinoline Swimming Pool here to welcome the New Year 2016.
NGO president, Michael Syiem has informed that eighty blocks of ice, each weighing 50 kgs will be put inside the pool for the occasion.
He has requested the participants not to take any intoxicants during the programme as otherwise the challenge of the function will be lost. The programme is being held with the objective of praying to the Almighty for strength to face the challenges of the New Year.
