GUWAHATI, Sept 3 - Noted social worker and founder president of voluntary organisation Save Guwahati Build Guwahati (SGBG) Dhiren Barua was hospitalised following a fall at his own residence yesterday morning.

The 91-year-old social worker fractured his left wrist, while there was also an adverse impact on his waist. He was rushed to Apollo Hospital immediately after the incident. His condition is stated to be stable now, but he will have to remain under medical observation for a few more days, said Kailash Sarma, one of the general secretaries of SGBG.
