GUWAHATI, Dec 8 - SG Club got the better of Lokhra Sports Club by three wickets in their match of the Ratan Lal Singhania and Mohini Devi Singhania Cricket Tournament organised by the Ankurjyoti Club at the Judges Field here today.

Electing to bat, Lokhra batsmen put up a total of 124 runs before being all out in 26.4 overs. Sunil Roy top scored with an unbeaten 62 runs off 49 deliveries while Kiran Singh returned with figures of 5 for 17 runs in his 7 overs.

In reply, SG Club boys got past the target losing seven wickets in 26.1 overs. Prakash Thakur scored 32 off 56 balls while Neeraj Yadav scalped 3 wickets giving away 26 runs in his five overs. Gordon Cricket Academy will face Student Club on Wednesday.

Brief scores: Lokhra SC 124 (Sunil Roy 62 n.o, Abuddin Khan 17, Kiran Singh 5/17, Sanjeeb Basfor 3/9) lost to SG Club 126/7 (Prakash Thakur 32, Mintu Sarkar 24, Neeraj Yadav 3/26, Abuddin Khan 2/41).
