Several join BPF

KOKRAJHAR, Nov 12 - Several leaders and members of various political parties on Friday joined the Bodoland Peoples Front (BPF) in the presence of BPF supremo and BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary at a function held near SAI complex here. Mohilary welcoming the new members with a Bodo traditional aronai appealed to all to work for the all-round development of the BTC region.

Talking to mediapersons, Hagrama Mohilary said that BPF has completed various developmental works as per the manifesto released before the last Assembly election.

He also appealed all the factions of NDFB to shun the path of violence and to join the mainstream. Gun culture can never solve any problem, he said. At the same time, Mohilary also declared that next meeting of the BPF policy making body will be held on November 29 at New Delhi.
