JORABAT, March 13 - Ten injured school students and a teacher were rushed to the hospital when the autorickshaw ferrying them to school met with an accident on NH-37 at Khetri this morning.
As per information, the mishap took place when a speeding Maruti Suzuki Swift (AS 01BZ 0439) hit the autorickshaw (AS 21C 4362) from behind. Along with the injured students and teacher, the driver too was rushed to nearby 30-bed government hospital.
Following the incident, a chaotic situation arose in the area. Swift action by Khetri police however prevented the situation from turning worse.
Later on, the injured students were taken to the GMCH for better treatment.
