Seva Dal training camp for Cong workers

GUWAHATI, Jan 5 � The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee has organized a five-day-long Seva Dal Training Camp for the grass-root Congress workers of the State commencing from today, in the city.

According to a press release issued by the party, the training camp has been envisaged to impart training to 630 Congressmen across the State. Each Legislative constituency will be represented by five delegates (three male and two female).

After successful completion of the camp, these newly trained delegates will impart Seva Dal training to grass-root workers in their respective areas over the next 150 days, thus extending this training to atleast 1,57,500 workers throughout the State.

Dr CP Joshi, general secretary, All India Congress Committee (in-charge Assam) shall attend the valedictory ceremony of the training camp as the Chief Guest. Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi is scheduled to attend the function as the guest of honour, said the press release.
