GUWAHATI, March 27 - Refinery XI and River Rine Club registered victories in their respective matches of the Servo 23rd Guwahati Challenge Trophy at the Judges Field here today.
In the first match of the day, Refinery XI got the better of Jyoti Sangha, Bilasipara by 12 runs. Electing to bat, Refinery boys put up a total of 127 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their stipulated 20 overs. In reply, Jyoti Sangha batsmen managed 115 runs in 19.1 overs. In the other match of the day, Jyoti Sangha faced yet another defeat, this time going down to River Rine Club by 11 runs. Electing to bat, River Rine boys posted a total of 152 for five in their stipulated overs. Chasing the target, Jyoti Sangha scored 141 runs for the loss of six wickets.
