KALIABOR, April 10 - Twenty-five Scouts and 20 Guides from Kaliabor Higher Secondary School, Silghat and nine Scouts from Kuwaritol High School under the guidance of Bhogeswar Saikia, Assistant Teacher, HS and district secretary, Sewali Borah, Assistant Teacher, Kaliabor HS, State Assistant Training Commissioner and Nabanita Dolbarua, Assistant Teacher, Kaliabor HS extended various services for Namami Brahmaputra Festival and Ashokastomi Mela at Silghat from March 31 to April 4. During the festival period, they provided their duties at various places of the exhibition, meeting hall, playground office, dining halls etc., and they helped the visitors every where. Some of them got prizes for their sincere duties during the festival period. The Ashokastomi Mela Samittee provided meals and accommodation to the Scouts & Guides.
The Festival Organising Committee, Kaliabor civil administration have highly praised the duties and responsibilities of all the Scouts and Guides along with their leaders.
