PATACHARKUCHI, Sept 6 - Ananta Mohan Sarma, a senior professor of the Botany Department of Bajali College, a journalist, popular freelance writer, active social worker and also an active science worker was on Tuesday conferred the �Jiban Bandhu� title by the �Bajali Mahavidyalaya Sahitya Chora�, an organisation working for the overall improvement of literary works.
It was undoubtedly a big reward for him on Teacher�s Day. At present, he is struggling for life as he is suffering from cancer. The award was conferred on him by a group of workers of the organisation at Guwahati.
