GUWAHATI, Dec 14 - The two-day State-level seminar on the heritage of the Karmabir Nabin Chandra Bardoloi Hall and Library being organised by the Assam Library Association on December 19 and 20, 2016 has been postponed to January 23 and 24, 2017.
Assam Library Association president Prof Alaka Buragohain said in a press release here today that the seminar on �Public Librarianship and the Glorious Heritage of Karmabir Nabin Chandra Bardoloi Hall and library: Plan for Renovation and Development� scheduled to be organised on December 19 and 20, 2016 at the Nabin Bardoloi Hall itself in association with the State Directorate of Library Services and the Government-constituted Committee for Renovation and Development of Nabin Chandra Bardoloi Hall Library, has been postponed due to some unavoidable circumstances.
The event is sponsored by the Kolkata-based Raja Rammohan Roy Library Foundation of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. All the programmes proposed as part of the two-day seminar, will remain unchanged, said Prof Buragohain.
