GUWAHATI, March 6 - MSME Development Institute, Guwahati, under the Ministry of MSME, Govt of India, in association with Small Industries Development Bank of India and Laghu Udyog Bharati, is organising a national seminar on market access initiative for export for woman entrepreneurs of NE on the occasion of International Women�s Day at the Assam Administrative Staff College on March 8.
The seminar will be inaugurated at 10.30 am by Governor Prof Jagdish Mukhi. Ravi Capoor, Addl Chief Secretary Industries & Commerce, and Angoorlata Deka, Member of Assam Legislative Assembly will be the guests of honour.
The seminar is aimed at creating awareness amongst the woman entrepreneurs of the region regarding the resources, technology, environment, policy support and facilities available to them, besides discussing access to finance for woman entrepreneurs.
Fragrance & Flavours Development Centre, Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh will provide an e-presentation on scope of perfumery and aroma industries in the North East.
Representatives from state governments of the north-eastern region, banks and financial institutions, research organisations, industry bodies and successful woman entrepreneurs will be participating in the seminar.
