DERGAON, June 30 - A seminar on �Library and Information Science� was held at DKD College, IGNOU Study Centre (0402) here recently.
The seminar organised by the centre and moderated by Arun Dutta was attended by the coordinator of the centre Dr Khireswar Loying as the key person while senior academic counsellor Sanjoy Kumar Hazarika and Dr Jnandeep Saikia took part as the evaluators.
The seminar meant for the partial fulfilment of Master of Library and Information Science (MLISc) course of IGNOU was participated by students. Six research papers on different areas of Library and Information Science were presented by Priyanka Bora, Binita Phukan, Priyanka Devi, Himadri Boro, Rashmi Gogoi and Mayuri Saikia. The evaluators discussed the different points of the papers presented in the seminar.
