Seminar on innovations in biomedical sciences today

GUWAHATI, May 2 - The NEMCARE Group of Institutions is organising a national seminar on the topic �Novel Innovations in Biomedical Sciences (NIBS)-2019� on its campus at Mirza tomorrow.

According to a press release, the basic objective of the seminar is to bring together healthcare professionals on a common forum to discuss their problems and challenges and on the recent advances made in the healthcare science.

The speakers will include Dr MD Burande, Director, Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Pune; Dr Mridula Saikia Khanikar, Vice Chancellor, IGTAMSU (Indira Gandhi Technological and Medical Sciences University), Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh; Dr Pronobesh Chattopadhyay, Scientist D, Defence Research Laboratory, Tezpur; Dr Pranab Goswami, Department of Biosciences & Bioengineering, IIT Guwahati; Belinda Sawant, head of nursing services, Saifee Hospital Mumbai; and Monjoy Choudhury, founder of Ayusergence, Guwahati.

The seminar is being supported by the Assam Science & Technology University, Guwahati; Assam Nurses� Midwives� & Health Visitors� Council, Guwahati; Regional Drug Testing Laboratory, Guwahati, and the State Drug Testing Laboratory, AYUSH, Jalukbari.
