Seminar on Fit India begins

GUWAHATI, Feb 20 � A two-day national level seminar on the subject �Fit India and Healthy India � vision 2020 A Physical Education Perspective� was inaugurated at the Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education, Tepesia today by Union Sports Minister Sarbananda Sonowal. More than 150 participants mainly professors, research scholars, sports administrators representing more than 15 States and 50 universities and colleges are taking part in the seminar. The theme of the seminar and central focus is to find out road map for realizing fit and healthy Indian population comprehensively by 2020.
