GUWAHATI, Sept 19 - A seminar on recent advances in bio-sciences will be held at Pragjyotish College here on September 21 and 22, a press release issued here said today.
Being organised by the Department of Zoology of the college in collaboration with the Zoological Society of Assam, the inaugural session of the seminar will be graced by Education Minister Siddhartha Bhattacharya, Science and Technology Minister Keshab Mahanta, and former Vice Chancellor of Dibrugarh University, Prof Alak Burhagohain.
The keynote address will be delivered by Prof Placheril John of Rajasthan University. The seminar will be followed by the annual general meeting of ZSA on September 22 from 11 am, the release added.
