GUWAHATI, June 21 � A three-day zonal level selection meet for girls� basketball, boys� football along with painting got off yesterday at the SOS Children�s Village Guwahati.
The East Zone team for the Inter Zone Sports Meet and Painting Competitions will be selected from this meet. The inter zonal competitions will be held at Bhopal in the month of August.
Altogether 100 children from seven Villages of East Zone-Begusarai, Bhubaneshwar, Guwahati, Hojai, Kolkata, Rourkela and Shillong are taking part in the selection meet, stated a release.
