GUWAHATI, June 29 - Representatives from the Assam Secretariat Service Association, Assam Secretariat Stenographer Association, Assam Secretariat Typist Association, Assam Secretariat 4th Grade Employees Association and Assam Secretariat Drivers Association met Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal in his office chamber at the Assam Secretariat here today and congratulated him on taking over charge as Chief Minister and apprised him of their various problems.
Giving a patient hearing to the representatives, the Chief Minister assured them that he would consider their demands sympathetically and quickly redress their grievances. He appealed to the representatives to work with more sincerity and dedication for the welfare of the people of the State.
Exhorting the representatives to work as �Team Assam� for the well-being of the State and its people, Sonowal said, �You have to dispose of files swiftly to hasten the pace of development.�
