KAZIRANGA , June 17 - In view of the monsoons and ensuing floods in the Kaziranga National Park, the Bokakhat subdivisional administration has imposed Section 144 CrPC with immediate effect along with some restrictive measures for the safety of wild animals and human lives. The restrictive measures include: vehicles must not ply above 30 km/ hour on NH 37 bordering the Kaziranga National Park; No harm or injury should be caused to wild animals, birds and even reptiles taking shelter on the National Highway 37; nobody should move with any lethal weapons in and around the Kaziranga National Park; Heavy vehicles should not be parked along the NH 37 passing by Kaziranga National Park which may obstruct the safe passage of wild animals and birds. Ambulances with patients and forest and security forces and fire brigade on duty are exempted from the purview of this order.
