Scientist from Pathsala does Assam proud

PATACHARKUCHI, Nov 11 - Prabal Choudhary, a scientist hailing from the educational hub of the State � Pathsala town of the newly formed Bajali district � has brought laurels to the State by featuring in a Stanford University list of the world�s two percent top-ranked scientists.

Choudhary, a senior professor of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Delhi and a research guide, was born at Pathsala. He obtained his school education in Bajali Higher Secondary School, passed the HSSLC exam from Bajali College, graduated from the Assam Engineering College and then completed MTech from IIT Guwahati. The people here have congratulated him on this achievement. He was also hailed on various social media platforms.

Prabal has worked as a research guide for a number of students and travelled to several countries. He has worked in a number of foreign universities as well. He was invited to the President�s house twice as a student representative of the students of IIT Delhi.
