GORESWAR, Dec 29 - A day long workshop on �Importance of Science Education� with special reference to Chemistry is being organised under the aegis of the Association of Chemistry Teachers, Homi Bhava Centre for Science Education in collaboration with the Arjyabhatta Science Centre, Goreswar and the Assam Science Society, Goreswar branch on December 30 at Goreswar College.
The workshop will be inaugurated by Dr Khargeswar Deka, principal of Goreswar College.
Professor DC Deka of Gauhati University and few other noted academicians will attend the workshop. Students from nearby schools and colleges will also take part in the science-based model competition.
