GUWAHATI, May 12 - The Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Management and Technology (GIMT), Guwahati, in association with Assam Science Society, is organising a State-level science model exhibition-cum-competition � UDVAWANA-2019 � among the students of classes IX to XII to explore their innovative ideas and concepts of young minds of the State, stated a press release.
The theme for the competition is �Technology generation using innovation�.
The event is being conducted in two phases � phase-I at the district level and phase-II at the State level.
The first and second position holders of the district-level competition will be invited to participate in the State-level competition, which will be held on May 18 on the GIMT Guwahati premises at Hathkhowapara, Azara.
The district-level event was held on May 11 in various districts of Assam, added the release.
