GUWAHATI, Feb 2 � The Regional Science Centre, Guwahati, organized this year�s State Science and Engineering Fair in its premises here recently.
Many school and engineering students from different districts of Assam participated with their innovative science models in the event.
More than 90 models were presented by around 180 students from across the state.
The competition was held in school as well as engineering level, with winners handed over certificates and other prizes.
In the inaugural function, Dr Dhrubajyoti Saikia, Vice Chancellor of Cotton College State University, was present as chief guest and inaugurated the Fair.
In the valedictory function, Dr Umesh Chandra Sarma, Vice Chancellor of Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences, Guwahati, was present as the chief guest, while Dr Anil Kumar Goswami, former Principal of Cotton College presided over the function.
