GUWAHATI, April 30 - Nilachal Jatiya Vidyalaya observed National Science Day today with a programme to underscore the growing influence of science and technology among the students, according to a press release here.
The event began with lighting of the lamp by Rajib Kalita, Principal of the school. A wall magazine Pragyan was inaugurated by Udaya Phukan, senior teacher of Asam Jatiya Bidyalay. An exhibition of projects on science and environment prepared by students was held on the occasion. Prizes were distributed among the students to encourage them for their projects.
