GUWAHATI, Feb 28 - Cluster of Stars, a charitable trust with its office at Leturam Das Market, Pandu, has announced a scholarship test for BPL students for pursuing free education.
The scholarship includes free lodging, food and clothing for students from Class VII to higher levels like medical, engineering, MBA, CA, etc., on completion of study in school and college with good marks.
�A male child of the north-eastern region belonging to BPL categories whose annual family income is below Rs 60,000 and who has passed sixth standard or appeared but result is awaited and those who are physically fit and free from any kind of contagious disease and are willing to stay in hostel provided by the trust can appear for the test,� it said in a statement.
This year the trust will select only five candidates on merit basis. The last date for receipt of application is March 15. Application forms can be collected from the office of the charitable trust.
