SBI donates ventilators

GUWAHATI, July 29 - The State Bank of India (SBI) has decided to provide 20 ventilators to government hospitals in Assam for fighting against COVID-19, said a press release here on Wednesday.

As part of the initiative, SBI Circle Chief General Manager RS Ramesh handed over 10 ventilators to Pijush Hazarika, Minister of State (Ind), Health and Family Welfare at a ceremony held at the GMCH on Tuesday. Ten more ventilators will be supplied to other hospitals.

Minister Hazarika thanked the bank and SBI Ladies Club for donating the ventilators. Principal of GMCH Achyut Baishya and other officials of the hospital along with senior officials of the bank were present at the ceremony.
