GUWAHATI, May 26 - The State Bank of India, NE Circle, yesterday announced the opening of its fully digitalised branch called �SBI Intouch Branch� at GS Road here.

The branch, the first of its kind in Assam, was inaugurated by Rajnish Kumar, MD (National Banking Group) from SBI Corporate Centre, Mumbai, through video conferencing. Chief General Manager PVSLN Murthy inaugurated the branch by lighting the ceremonial lamp in the presence of Gautam Bhattacharyya, General Manager Network-I, Panna Lal Das, General Manager Network-II, Sanjaya Srivastava, Deputy General Manager (B&O) Guwahati, and Hari Har Patnaik, Regional Manager (Kamrup Metro).

The key services provided by the branch include automated account opening and credit facilities, ATM (automated teller machine), CDM (cash deposit machine), ECD (electronic cheque deposit machine), Swayam passbook printer and video consultancy facility.
