JALUKBARI, Sept 21 - The North East leg of Bharat Yatra, a nationwide campaign against child sexual abuse and trafficking led by Nobel laureate Kailash Satyarthi, will be launched in the city from the Gauhati University Sports Complex tomorrow. The theme of this year�s campaign is �Let us together create a safe childhood for our children,�, stated a press release.

Satyarthi launched this nationwide campaign from Kanyakumari to Delhi on September 11, marking the beginning of his three-year campaign against child sexual abuse and trafficking. During the launch of this campaign, he appealed to the youth to join the march to ensure safety and security of children who are the future

of India.

The event is likely to be attended by State Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma and State Sports Minister Naba Kumar Doley.

Students from altogether 20 schools of the city are likely to participate in the Bharat Yatra on Friday, added the release.
