GOSSAIGAON, Aug 18 - The Governor of Assam, Prof Jagadish Mukhi arrived at Sarfanguri under Kachugaon Forest Division on Saturday afternoon for inauguration of 40 lakh sal sapling plantations at Nabinagar.
The programme was inaugurated by the Governor by planting a sapling.
The programme was attended by BTC IGP Anurag Agarwal, SP Rakesh Roshan and Principal Secretary Dr Siddhartha Singh.
State Publicity Officer, Lucky Biswas, Deputy Secretary, Swapna Dutta Deka, Chief of Forests, BTC A Swargiyari, DC, Kokrajhar, Bhaskar Phukan, DFO, Kachugaon and R Saha were also present.
