Sanjive Roy new GM of NF Railway

GUWAHATI, March 8 - Sanjive Roy, an officer of Indian Railway Service of Engineers from the UPSC�s 1981 batch, has joined as the new General Manager of Northeast Frontier Railway.

Prior to his new posting, Roy was working as Principal Chief Engineer of North Central Railway, Allahabad.

An M Tech in Structural Engineering from IIT, Kanpur, Roy has worked in various capacities in many zonal railways like Northern Railway, Railway Design and Standard Organisation, North Western Railway, North Eastern Railway, South Central Railway, West Central Railway, North Central Railway and South Western Railway.

He had also earlier served as Chief Engineer (Construction) of NFR and during his tenure in that post the entire New Jalpaiguri-New Bongaigaon gauge conversion work was completed.
