Samadhan, Suvidha introduced in Baksa

GUWAHATI, March 25 - Two Information Technology applications, namely Samadhan and Suvidha have been rolled out to facilitate monitoring and disposing off poll-related complaints and suggestions in Baksa district and also to facilitate issuance of permission for hosting of events and rallies.

Already, 12 complaints were registered and disposed off under the Samadhan application, while 126 permissions have so far been given under Suvidha in the district, which comprises of three constituencies.

Also, five Election Observers were appointed by the Election Commission of India to monitor and check that the election process in the district is free and fair.

The Observers are Shivjee Choupal, General Observer for 58 Tamulpur Legislative Assembly Constituency and 62 Barama (Scheduled Tribe) Legislative Assembly Constituency (0362-4234555, 954119370), Vilash B Patil, General Observer for 63 Chapaguri (Scheduled Tribe) Legislative Assembly Constituency (954119626), Basant K Rath, Police Observer for all the three Legislative Assembly Constituencies (9854119431), Pradip KS Sengar, Expenditure Observer for all the three Legislative Assembly Constituencies (9854119525), Rajesh Kumar Jha, Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation Awareness Observer for all the three Legislative Assembly Constituencies (09458451061) respectively.
