UWAHATI, May 30 - The Sadou Asam Karmachari Parishad (SAKP) will hold a meeting with the State government soon for resolving its long-standing issues.
In a statement, the SAKP said that issues like making public the rectified pay panel report, regularisation of services of muster roll, fixed pay and casual workers, removing anomalies in the pay structure of primary school teachers, implementing the new pay panel recommendations with effect from January 1, 2016, and release of various arrears due to the employees, would be taken up during the meeting with the government.
The SAKP warned that unless its long-standing demands were met immediately, it would launch a vigorous movement.
