GUWAHATI, Sept 10 - The CBSE Cluster-I U-17 and 19 Boys and Girls Basketball Tournament hosted and organised by the Miles Bronson Residential School (MBRS), Borjhar, here came to an end today.

Sainik School, Goalpara and St Francis De Sales (SFS), Narengi won the championship in the category of U-17 and 19 boys respectively while Delhi Public School (DPS), Numaligarh and Ekalavya Model Residential School (EMRS), Sikkim emerged champions in the U-17 and 19 girls category respectively.

The prizes were given away jointly by the chief guest Monikha Das, captain of Assam women�s cricket team, Dr NK Dutta, founder and Principal, MBRS and Mrinal Kalita, CBSE observer.

Results: (Boys U-17) Sainik School, Goalpara; (Girls U-17) DPS, Numaligarh; (Boys U-19) SFS, Narengi; (Girls U-19) EMRS, Sikkim. Runners-up: (Boys U-17) Miles Bronson Residential School, Borjhar; (Girls U-17) Miles Bronson Residential School, Borjhar; (Boys U-19) EMRS, Sikkim; (Girls U-19) SFS, Narengi.
