Saidul, Sanjana in EZ team

GUWAHATI, Jan 18 - Saidul Alam Ahmed of AG Assam won the men�s singles event defeating Ankur Basak of AG West Bengal 11-4,11-6,11-3, 11-9 while in the women�s singles final Sanjana Sarma of AG Assam went down to Nabanita Bose of West Bengal 10-12,10-12,11-4,11-9, 11-7 in the IA &AD East Zone Table Tennis Tournament held at Kolkata from January 15 to 17. Both Saidul and Sanjana were selected to represent the East Zone team in the All India IA & AD Table Tennis Championship to be held in Kolkata from January 20 to 22, informed Basanta Kumar Singh, general secretary of the Civil Accounts Sports and Cultural Club in a release.
