JORHAT, Oct 24 � SAI Regional Sub Centre, Guwahati team marched into the last-four stage of the ATPA Shiled Football Tournament stunning former champions Nagaland Police 3-2 at the Jorhat Stadium here today.
All the goals were scored in the action packed first session.
Biplab Nayan opened the account in the 24th minute for the winning team but in the 35th minute Lima drew parity.
In the very next minute SAI boys went ahead when Jefferson Nongrud hit the back of the Nagaland net. Nagaland Police again equalised the issue in the 38th minute through Lima.
However, in the 42nd minute Obadaia Bareh netted the third goal for the SAI team and that proved to be the winning goal of the match as in the lacklustre second session no team could hit the target.
