GUWAHATI, Jan 17 - All the qualifying round matches of the SAI-AITA Super Series Tennis Tournament for boys and girls 16 years event concluded here today at the All Assam Tennis Association (AATA) courts. The main round matches of the girls event will start at 8 am on January 18 and it will be followed by the boys first round matches, stated an AATA release.
The Results of the boys final qualifying round: Ayush Poddar (WB) beat Raj Rishi Khawas (WB) - 6-1, 7-6; Arith Bhuyan (ASM) beat Aakhzar Rahman (ASM) 6-0, 6-0; Arunesh Bora (ASM) beat Tonmoy Das (ASM) 6-1, 6-2; Anchit Gogoi (ASM) beat Raktav Dutta (ASM) 6-7 (5), 6-3, 6-0; Andy Thaosen (ASM) beat Denish Das (ASM) 6-0, 2-6, 7-5; Debasish Choudhury (ASM) beat Gideon Dalbot Shira (ML) 6-1, 6-3; Anshuman Phookan (ASM) beat Pratik Hazarika (ASM) 6-1, 6-1 and Uday Jyoti Das (ASM) beat Abhishek Sahani (ASM) 7-6 (4), 2-6, 6-4.
