GUWAHATI, Jan 9 - The SAI-AITA Super Series Tennis Tournament for Boys and Girls U- 16 will be held at the All Assam Tennis Association Complex, Chachal here from January 18 to 22.
The qualifying round matches will be held on January 16 and 17, informs All Assam Tennis Association (AATA) secretary Ankush Dutta in a release.
Till now about ninety players from all over the country have confirmed their participation in the tournament.The tournament will be sponsored by the Sports Authority of India (SAI) and will be organised by the AATA.
This tournament has been organised as a �Test Event� for the upcoming South Asian Games (SAG). The tennis event of the South Asian Games will start from February 7at the same venue.
Dutta has been appointed as the competition manager for the tennis event of the South Asian Games.
