JALUKBARI, Dec 2 - The Maz-Jalukbari Sahitya Sabha is organising a representative meeting and a discussion on �Regionalism in Assamese Poetry� on December 6 in the Assam Engineering College auditorium from 8.30 am.
The programme will start with hoisting of the flag by president of Maz-Jalukbari Sahitya Sabha Md Taheruddin Ahmed. This will be followed by lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Dr Atul Bora, Principal AEC.
The representative meeting will be attended by members of Kamrup (M) Sahitya Sabha branch, the president and the secretary.
The meeting will be presided over by litterateur and researcher Dr Parag Kr Bhattacharya. The lecture will be delivered by noted Assamese poet and resource person Dr Purno Kr Bhattacharya.
The meeting will be attended by many distinguished personalities from Jalukbari area, said Niren Ch Baishya, secretary, Maz-Jalukbari Sahitya Sabha.
