GUWAHATI, April 8 - Eminent Sri Lankan filmmaker Prasanna Vithanage will be honoured with the Biswaratna Dr Bhupen Hazarika International Integration Award of Asam Sahitya Sabha at a function to be held at Rabindra Bhawan at 5 pm on April 10.
The event synchronises with the ongoing centenary celebrations of the Sabha. The award comprises a citation, a memento, a seleng sador, and Rs 5 lakh. A host of dignitaries including filmmaker Jahnu Barua and outgoing Sabha president Dr Dhrubajyoti Bora will attend the function.
