Sahitya Akademi project �Navoday� for new writers

GUWAHATI, March 16 - Sahitya Akademi has launched a project titled �Navoday� to publish books authored by new writers below 35 years of age.

Disclosing this in a statement here, advisor to the Assamese section of the Akademi Dr Dhruvajyoti Borah said that the books thus proposed to be published by the Akademi should be the first ones from their authors, who belong to the said age group.

The manuscripts are to be sent to Dr Dhruvajyoti Borah, Convenor, Assamese Language Advisory Council, Sahitya Akademi, House No 26, Mahatma Gandhi Path, G S Road, Christianbasti, Guwahati, Assam, Pincode - 781005; email:[email protected]

The manuscripts of novels, short story collection, poem collection, essay collection, etc., should be typed in Ramdhenu font and sent in PageMaker format by September 30, 2019. However, the manuscripts are to be certified by eminent writers or teachers of literature of any university or college, said Dr Borah.
