GUWAHATI, March 31 � Children�s magazine Safura has announced the names of finalists of Safura scholarship examination and winners of Safura Talent Discovery Examination 2010.
The examinations are conducted to inculcate creative potentialities and uplift the academic excellence among younger generation.
The three finalists of primary scholarship of the magazine are Bhinnaruchi Tamuli of Parijat Jatiya Bidyalaya, Titabor, Akashnil Debnath of Sankardev Bidya Niketan, Morigaon and Rimjhim Saikia of Jatiya Bidyalaya, Pengeri, Margherita.
The finalists of middle school level scholarships are Arunabh Saikia of Asam Jatiya Bidyalaya, Guwahati, Dhrupad Deka of Suprabha Mahanta Sankardev Sishu Niketan, Amayapur and Pallavi Sarma of Routa Jatiya, a statement mentioned.
The names of the finalists in the upper ME school-level scholarship are Rajshekhar Kalita of Jatiya Bidyalaya, Nagaon, Achyut Ranjan Gogoi of Nazira Jatiya Bidyalaya, Rishabhraj Das of Birjhara Jatiya Bidyalaya, Bongaigaon.
The names of winners of scholarship exam in English medium schools have also been announced. The winners of group A scholarship are Triyambak Thakuria and Arpan Lahan of Guwahati and Hridayaspandan Rajmedhi of Mangaldoi. The winners of group B-level scholarship are Sabira Farhin of Guwahati, Arunabh Rajbongshi of Tezpur and Murchana Deka of Pathshala. In the group C scholarship, Rishiraj Bora of Lakhimpur, Riddhi Lahan of Dibrugarh and Pratyay Sarma of Morigaon have got the first three positions.
The finalists of Assamese medium scholarships would appear for a written test and interview from 10 am at the Safura office, Guwahati on April 23.
The statement also mentioned that the scholarship-giving ceremony would be held on April 24 at the B Borooah College, Guwahati.
