BISWANATH CHARIALI, March 17 - Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, 2019, a community- run programme �Run for Vote� was held today at Biswanath Chariali under the aegis of Biswanath district administration in order to create awareness among the voters on the importance of taking part in the voting process and also to attract the young voters.

The programme was flagged off by Pabitra Ram Khound, Deputy Commissioner of Biswanath district near the Clock Tower, here and it ended at Kachari Maidan.

The personnel of 24 Assam Rifles, Balipukhuri and Biswanath Chariali police reserve, Biswanath College NCC team, students of local colleges, NGOs, government employees, scribes and local people participated in the programme.
