GUWAHATI, Dec 9 - The Co-ordination Committee Against Citizenship Amendment Act has slammed a Bajrang Dal leader for his inflammatory remarks over Hindus visiting church during Christmas.
�Such inflammatory remarks targeting religious sentiments of the people have the potential of creating social unrest. We demand the administration to monitor the situation and take proper measures against such people,� the committee members stated.
�Hindus visiting churches during Christmas is common in our society and this does not lead to religious conversion. Moreover, in a democratic country, no one has the right to restrict the movement of others,� the committee added.
